So Last week was Hectic!I am working with a few DJs on some new collabs!Leo Roche , Marco Tropiano and Ken Tracy and of course my soon to be released single Xplode coming out mid October . I am getting the final copy on Thursday and I just can't wait anymore!
I've got some special news!!! Sharpshere Records will be holding a Remix Competition to have the best track featured on the Xplode EP.
It's a great opportunity to be discovered, the label is always looking for new talent to be a part of their roster.We are looking for something original and out of the box! So Bring your own flavour to it. I cannot wait to see what you guys will come up with!

Just wanna give you a glimpse of what's going on with me lately....
On a personal Note, I'm recently single and I feel like a cat lady taking care of my old cat Myla that I'm baby-sitting and my new one Tiger.Two catty females and they're not getting along!
In the music world, I've got some new Collaborations coming up with my friend from Texas Mista K Crain!He just finished mixing my vocals on "Last Call" a couple days ago and it should be up soon!I can't wait to share it with you guys and now today I'm going to record another demo feature on another one of his tracks called "Our Love". I can't stop singing this song! It reminds me of Drake a lil' and it's about that first love you had when you we're still a kid! This guy is super talented! You gotta check him out!
Other than that I'm still preparing some details for my little weekend out of town in Toronto.I'll be back in the studio on thursday with Amir to finalize "Xplode".We're discussing a plan for the music video for end of september so if you wanna see your sexy self in the vid contact me on my email below!!!We've already stated casting!This song has been driving me crazy but we're almost done and I'm really proud of it already!I'll also be driving down to visit Ottawa for the day on Friday.Then I've got another session Sunday in studio Mich2025 for another single that's on it's way!

Last week I found out I'm a finalist to compete for the Johnny Lombardi Italian Festival in Toronto! I will be leaving the 6th for a rehearsal and I will be back in Montreal the 10th! I was beginning to worry cause I had trouble finding travel buddies... Yes , my parents still worry about me going away on my own but that is not because they don't trust me, it's because they know I am terrible with directions and will most probably get lost! Good news is I will be going with my fellow actresse friend Claudia and Sara D. Thank god! My parents were gonna come(my #1 supporters) but I think it works out better this way... We dont need to leave my kitty "Tiger"alone for the whole weekend. As for the show, I will be singing a Mina classic "La voce del silenzio". I have previously won the 16th Edition of Superfantastico, an Italian singing competition based in montreal with this track and I hope it will bring me luck again this year. I will be performing with a live band , so it's gonna be an awesome experience! It is quite a change from the dance scene but I continue to do it cause I still enjoy being close to my Italian community, my roots and I never wanna lose track of who I am.
Back to T.O,We will be hitting some clubs so if you guys wanna share any of your Toronto club favourite spots or suggestions of places to visit , be sure to comment ! Last time I visited, I got to meet Danny Fernandes and Karl wolf at the Americas Next Top Model Convention... Who will I meet this time around?!?

I am a singer/songwriter from Montreal, I blog mostly about what's going on with my singing career but as much as my life is mostly music , I love people and talking about all sorts of things. Chasing after your dreams is hard sometimes but everyday life for a girl is tough too!We all need to Relax, breathe and keep going , no matter what life brings our way.
I've been going trough a little slump myself and I'm trying to keep my spirits up by doing a few
things that make me happy.You don't have to use my tips but I wanna share some with you guys!
I hope they help cause being down is just a waste of time and useless negativity.

Here are my 20 Mood Boosting Tips
1- Watch a funny movie like" 21jumpstreet "or stream your fave tv show( I love Drop Dead Diva) Read The Secret by Rhonda Byrnes if you wanna be inspired.
2- Flip through old photos of yourself, friends , fam and pets.
3- Take a walk and enjoy nature's loveliness.
4- Ice cream (Mcds Cornet always hits the spot)
5- Hot bubble bath with scented candles and pedicure when you're done.
6- Hang out with friends and chit chat. (a little harmless gossip is ok sometimes)
7- Listen to some happy music (M.I.A Paperplanes always gets me smiling')
8- Buy yourself a cheap thrill (magazine , candy or clothes... I always leave H&M a happy camper)
9- Coffee Fix Hummm Starbucks.
10- Talk with your loved one or send a flirty text.
11-Say a prayer and remind yourself of all the good things in your life that you take for granted.
12-Be kind, give someone a compliment.
13- Groom yourself a little, fix your hair or put on a little makeup, get out out of your sweats and out of your house for a little.
14- Write your feelings down on paper or blog.
15- Social network, snoop on Facebook or Tweet , it'll keep you in the loop !
16- Get moving and hit the gym cause exercise will instantly make you feel good about yourself.
17- Smile at all times! That's when you are most beautiful.
18- Set yourself a few goals to accomplish during your day and congratulate yourself;''''5 afterwards.
19- Call family, we sometimes forget but keeping a good bond is important.
20- Don't eat too much , it will weigh you down! Have some fruits and eat often but lighter.
(Sorry guys , I know most of these tips are girl oriented but you get the drift.)
A while ago, I said I would post a vid of the El Gitano choreography to show some of my dance progress. It's finally up on youtube. This is a sneak peak at my rehearsal. We filmed a few parts of the choreo at the Shauna Roberts Dance Centre in Montreal. I think the routine is fun , sassy and pretty easy if anyone wants to try it. Jamie Malysh is the awesome choreographer and dancer featured in the clip (sweatpants) and I wanna say a big thank you to Joshua Perets for sponsoring me! I get to rehearse and record in style, feelin' sexy and comfy! Unfortunately, it's not the best audio quality but this is it ! So bare with me! Keep in mind, I 'm no professional dancer but It would be amazing for my song to inspire people to dance!

I've been working on a new song with Amir Hoss (El Gitano Remix)without an official title yet but I wanna call it "Explode"! It's pretty avant-garde with some risky lyrics!I haven't written anything like this yet so it's always fun to try something new!This song is really bringing out my naughty side without being too raunchy... But it's all fun & games and flirtatious like me.The music is pumpy and Amir is gonna be featured on this track with me!He's just an amazing musician and a lot of fun to work with. I'm also working with a great friend and writer, Dave Stephen.He's just sunshine , he makes me laugh every time we're in studio! We're working on something Amazing!It's called" On Your Playlis"t, I'm proud of this one, It's the kinda song that has to make you smile! Lot's of rhymes and attitude and I just love it! It's kinda Black Eyed Peas meets Madonna!I'm planning on releasing a full album with Dave by christmas, so I'm in writing mode !If you guys have any great ideas to write about! Share them with me!:)
I'm always open to new ideas and I'm looking for some inspiration!

Saturday night I took an hour and a half drive with my manager to St-Gabriel the Brandon to open up for DJ MC Mario at the CKOI Beach party! Promoting his Summer Anthems 2012 Album.I performed "El GITANO"It was lots of fun!They were an amazing crowd 10 000 people! It was crazy! It felt like 30 seconds!Now, I 've got the itch to perform !Finally kicked off my summer tour! Datdude followed my performance and he was awesome!

As you know I've recorded "Baila Morena" a Zucchero (Italian singer) original blues song and put my own twist on it as a dance club feel. It's fun with a little latin flavour ,it's definitely a summer song.

The show must go on and hopefully it will be a great one! It will be my first time performing
"El Gitano" LIVE ...I was always used to singing big ballads alone on stage so this is a little different for me. "El Gitano" is a dance song so there's gonna be a fun and sexy choreo with my back up dancers ! I'm not a great dancer yet but I'm working on it to put on a good show. :)
I am excited to break the ice with this performance and start the tour this summer!

After a long 5 hour session at planet studios to record Baila!We Finiished at 1 am ! It was great , exhausting and so much fun with our sound engineer Dimitri!Amazing by the way;) There was a fake laugh in the song that was really hard to nail.. We brought my close friend Titi to help me out! We had a few chipmunk laughs but we managed to get something decent ... I think ...we recorded english and french and i was so proud at the end of the night cause i didn't think my voice would pull through with all the straining but it turned out great!I slept in ,woke up ,had my favorite breafast in the workd buttered toast with coffee and got ready for an outdoor photoshoot at the park across from my house! My photographer Vince wanted to test out his new cam and we did a casual shoot outside! Always fun working with MasterControlMedia! Hes the bestest!

Had an amazing BBQ today with my family despite me badly hurting my shoulder and still coughing.I did make some awesome sangria and had a juicy cheeseburger, simple and yet so satisfying.Later my friend Jess texted me for Mcds ice-cream(of course i got her hooked) I crave vanilla cornets all the time and i'm loving the 1$ cold coffee but anyways we started talking about the men in our lives and it's so funny because it really began to feel like we were in an episode of Sex And The City trading advice...It's a girl thing I guess...but we just love analyzing men and every little thing they say or do...or text now that technology has changed everything.Love is just so complicated with Men involved ,they must think the same for us women but I don't know..I just feel like most of the time they're the problem..I'm not trying to take sides but I hate when these guys pop out of nowhere and suddenly just change.They're running scared of actually being happy, they met another girl,they're fed up cause you expired, it's going too fast, they're not sure...whatever....excuses lol A couple of movies traumatized me ..The Little Blackbook with Britany Murphy and "He's Just Not That Into You"pretty good movies...I don't even know what's worst ,dating someone you think you know, to find out they have a secret life or being cheated on or just not loved enough...There are lots of nice guys out there but most women just keep choosing the same wrong guy over and over again.I think I fall under that category but my heart just doesn't know any better and I just love too much and too fast.I think trust is crucial in a relationship..so is communication and having that loving feeling...It's hard work and a lot of headaches but they are totally worth it ,for all the great times.There are so many different situations..like being with someone who loves you more...it's almost as if i rather love more cause i don't wanna make someone feel rejected... i rather hurt a little...And I hate to chase....but when I love it's just so natural for me to wanna be with that person and I crave them loving me for me.It's weird how I always find guys who drive me crazy,guys who just don't get me...I still believe being with someone is better the being single in my opinion..I love to cuddle and spend time with my boyfriend ,take the time to become best friends and do the little things that make me happy...Like, we watch AmericanIdol together..that's our thing ..it sounds gay but it's fun and I love to eat suppers together with a nice bottle of wine.(I try to cook a good supper for my man)I'm still working on that. All this to say ..I love love and no matter how tough it gets. you can't quit on someone you truly love and you need to accept you can't control everything and let things be and give them the chance to fall in to place.

You have to check out her music video!it's so 80's!Anyways, it's got a really fun and summer feel and i'm gonna enjoy performing this one live !Im really excited about it ! I can't wait to get back in the studio and sing my heart out... Ive been trying to rest my voice these past couple of days since i've been sick...Now it's time to get back into the groove! Waiting for the bus and i'm so tired of not having my license... I'm passing my practical for the third time in june... And now I need to get it...everybody thinks i'm a danger to the road but i just wanna get around quicker... Its already 20 minutes i'm waiting for this stupid bus

Hey everybody! I got back from my trip with a smile on my face and then I started to feel an itch in my throat and I Knew I was coming down with something... I've been in bed 2 days straight with fever! Eating chicken soup and sipping on teas... Makes me sad everytime I lose my voice cause I always feel so helpless and useless. I feel like I lose a part of me but there is good news .. While I was in Toronto I missed Celebrity apprentice , Smash and ANTM so guess what I was doing when I wasn't sleepping... Catching up on my fave shows! WIth my kitty Myla.. She was happy to have me around... I've been away for a while now , always back and forth busy with the singing....Anyways , I've been dealing with sore throats for over a decade to avoid not being able to sing at shows. Everybody has they're little remedies ,now from what I learned in these past 2 days ... Just don't speak PERIOD and you will definitely slash your sick time in half.. I'm already feeling better! I was alone until my boyfriend came home and we did our favorite thing watch AmericanIdol together.. It was total relaxation... Although I recently joined the gym to toneup a little! I had a total junk day... It was anazing I had a steaksub with fries ... Toaster strudel chocolate milk and ate nutella straight from the jar... It made me so happy... I didn't even feel guilty... Anyways , I'm off to the Matt & Nat sale ... Shopping time!Another boost for the morale!

I spent the weekend of the 4,5 and 6th of may, in Toronto for ANTM because I'm collaborating with ToyWatch Canada in a promotional campaign.I'm promoting my newest single "El Gitano"featuring Canada's #1 Dj MC Mario.It's coming out this summer on his album "Summer Anthems"and available in french and english on iTunes! I'm so excited!Now,back to the convention, this was my thing!!! All kiosques for women.. hair booths , nail booths, makeup ,cosmetics ,fashion,you name it ,it was there!It was so much fun!Lots of freebies and discounts.I was also there to watch the Top Models from the All Star Season of ANTM (my fave show of course).Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet any of them nor the Fiercest Tyra Banks who didn't make an appearance...I was so disappointed but it's ok the show was still great.The Fashion show was amazing!I loved the Music ,(discovered a new blonde's "call me" by Dubstep The messiah) the incorporation of the dancers and singing performances.It was sick !There were tricks,backflips and even a hip hop element to the show.Thanks to ToyWatch, I even got a chance to take a photo with Danny Fernandes and Karl Wolf who were headliners that weekend!They were both great and I was starstruck..hehehe I'm not used to meeting celebrities yet.Although the weekend was exhausting, (the travel time from Montreal to toronto was 6 hours long)It was worth it ..I met lots of people from the music industry, A&Rs from music labels,Djs, videographers,artists and made friends.The Dolce crew had supper at a restaurant on King street , it was pretty good! "Il fornello"and we had quite a funny waiter.I think he was hitting on my manager lol Anyways, I was sad I didn't have the time to shop :(
